AIMS & ABT Making a Difference

Recently, AIMS received a request from the National MS Society on behalf of a woman from Oak Park living with Multiple Sclerosis whose quality of life had been significantly impacted by a mattress that was more than 20 years old. Chronic pain, fatigue, and disrupted sleep had become a daily challenge, and due to financial hardship, replacing her mattress simply was not an option.

The MS Navigator reached out to AIMS hoping there might be a way to help address this critical unmet need.

Because of the incredible partnership between AIMS and ABT, the answer was a resounding YES.

Working together, AIMS was able to provide a brand-new queen-size adjustable bed and it was delivered today. For someone living with MS, something as simple as proper sleep and support can have a tremendous impact on comfort, health, and overall quality of life. Knowing how excited and grateful the recipient is makes this effort even more meaningful.

A special and heartfelt thank you goes to Rich Renee, Kal Madhiwala, and Joshua Davis, whose dedication, compassion, and commitment helped make this happen so quickly and seamlessly. Their willingness to step up and help is a perfect example of what makes ABT such an extraordinary company.

AIMS simply would not be where it is today without the support of ABT and its amazing employees. From the very beginning of AIMS, ABT has stood beside us, helping us serve individuals and families affected by Multiple Sclerosis. As ABT has grown and expanded into bedding, furniture, and countless other areas, they have continued to create opportunities for AIMS to meet needs that would otherwise go unanswered.

ABT is more than a business partner. Time and time again, the people of ABT demonstrate that their commitment extends far beyond products and services. They genuinely care about improving lives and strengthening the communities they serve.

Today, because of that commitment, a woman living with MS will sleep more comfortably, rest more peacefully, and experience a better quality of life.

Thank you, ABT, for your continued support of AIMS, for believing in our mission, and for helping us make a real difference in the lives of people living with Multiple Sclerosis. None of this would be possible without you.
